Sounds and Vibrations

Downtown Calgary has an eclectic variety of location for live music from Jazz at the BEAT NIQ social club, live bands in the basement of the Palomino to DJ events at BR& and Flames Central.

In the summer you can experience a wide variety of buskers and music festivals outdoors. A few of the festivals to look forward to are the Calgary Jazz Festival (June 25 & 26), Sled Island Music Festival (July 2 & 3), Calgary International Folk Festival (July 22 to 25), Calgary International Blues Festival (Aug 2 to 8), CJSW music in the Park thoughout the summer on Saturday and Brown Bag lunch music series every Wednesday at Olympic Plaza.
